Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is a world-class Aquarium featuring 1.5-million gallons of marine and freshwater habitats displaying species from across the world. The aquarium consists of nine separate galleries showcasing a cross section of environments – starting with species from Toronto’s backyard, the Great Lakes basin. After 6 years of planning, design and construction, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada has now been open for business for nearly 18 months. The journey has been long and rewarding for the design and construction team. This presentation will provide a facility overview and briefly discuss the construction, startup and opening of the facility. |
