Many kids dream of a career working with animals, unaware of the many jobs that involve wildlife and rehabilitation. Wildlife centers have great potential to help solve this by providing career exploration programs to inspire the next generation of wildlife rehabilitators and environmental stewards. This lecture illustrates the benefits of building a hands-on program that gives teens tools to support their community, your wildlife center, and more. Explore our program, Junior Rehabber Corps, and learn how to incorporate a program for teens that focuses on hands-on opportunities with animal husbandry, conservation, careers, and research that go into saving species. |
